Phuket’s continuing popularity as a tourist destination is undoubtedly because it offers so many things to do and see; your holiday can be as relaxing or as active as you want it to be.
The beach will, of course, always be a major attraction, and the wonderful climate allows it to be a central part of any holiday here, as could a round or two of golf at any of Phuket’s championship courses.
But what else can you do in Phuket?
Well – how about:
Phi-Phi/Maya Bay (“The Beach”)/Monkey Beach/Krabi/Khai Nai Island/James Bond Island Scuba Diving or snorkelling
White-water-rafting or canoeing
A visit to an elephant training camp
Learning new culinary skills with a Thai-cooking course
A trek into the jungle and rain forest
Enjoying the fun at a Monkey Show or even a Snake Show!
A trip to the Cashew-Nut factory or the Pineapple Plantation
Seeing the animals at the Gibbon Protection Project
A ride on a typical Thai Longtail Boat
The amazing FantaSea experience – winner of Thailand’s “Best Attraction” award
We will be pleased to help and advise you about any of these tours at our reception desk.
Visitors to this part of the world are often anxious about the weather. The so-called “Rainy Season” does indeed put many people off visiting during certain months – but it needn’t.
Yes – the rain can be quite heavy (especially in May and September) but the rainfall is usually less than one hour per day, after which the blue sky returns, and sunbathing weather reappears.
If you’re prepared to put up with this minor inconvenience, then why not take advantage of our low-season rates and enjoy the wonders of Phuket with reduced crowds and at a reduced cost!
